CONFERENCE VENUE

 

The Center of Advanced European Studies and Research (CAESAR) is located at Ludwig-Erhard-Allee 2, in Bonn. Information on how to reach the conference premises when travelling by plane, train or car and the respective taxi fares can be found here.

 

Reaching CAESAR via public transport from the city centre of Bonn:

  • Take bus number 610 or 611 (direction Heiderhof) from the centre of Bonn. The bus stop is located across the street from the main train station (= Hauptbahnhof).
  • Get off at the 10th stop 'Kennedyallee' (located at the intersection of Kennedyallee and Ludwig-Erhard-Allee). It will take approximately fifteen minutes.
  • From there the conference venue is only a few metres away and can be easily reached by walking.

Carbon offsetting

 

We encourage participants to compensate emissions related to their travel to Bonn.

ACCOMMODATION

 

For your convenience, blocks of hotel rooms have been reserved for 26 - 30 June 2017 close to the conference facilities or Bonn’s main train station. Please note that hotel reservations should be handled individually by each participant and to ensure availability, reservations should be made as soon as possible.
